BATEIKH, BARQOUQ, DALIA, HABHAB, JAH and JIBS all of these names referred to one type of fruit which is water melon, water melon is fruit from gourd family as well as it is summer fruits with round or oval shape and it is green from outside and red from inside.

There are other types of melon with different color form inside such as yellow, white and orange with black seeds. This fruit is considered one of famous summer fruit, because it is a source of water during summer, and it helps to reduce a body temperature in addition to its effective role in losing weight.

Water melon`s benefit
Water melon has various benefits because it contains antioxidants, vitamin C, lycopene and carotene, so that it helps to enhance immunity and to fight some disease such as arthritis and other types of inflammation.

As well known, water melons contains fiber and water so that it helps bowls movement and it enhances digestion system`s health and protect bowl especially from colon cancer.
